F.E. Trainer served as the general contractor for the renovation and addition to this private residence in West Knoxville. A large addition off the back of the home changed the layout and flow of the home, while all new finishes on the inside breathe new life into old spaces. Elegant features—like marble cased openings and marble shower jambs—are high end features used in multiple places. White oak flooring was selected for its durability and lasting beauty. The kitchen's focal point is a La Cornue range, which is centered on an island and framed by cylindrical pendant lights. A solid surface marble backsplash transitions seamlessly from the matching countertops. Brass finishes were featured heavily in bathrooms and bedrooms, while a bonus room bunkhouse offers a versatile space for entertaining children.
